Navjiven Mandair – Principal Solicitor

Navjiven is the Principal solicitor and the owner of Legal Practice Solicitors. She has many years of experience working in the UK and as an attorney in an international law firm in the USA.

Whilst working in New York City, Navjiven was part of a team working on complex matters for a Brazilian oil company as well as working on lengthy protracted litigation matters for multinational companies.

Navjiven worked with several highly regarded American attorneys and took an active role in consular matters at the United Nations offices. Navjiven was previously elected as a member of the Professional Ethics Committee at Brent Council and was part of a panel that made decisions on ethics concerning councillors.

Navjiven advises businesses of all sizes on their employment and business matters. Navjiven is an approved legal supplier of services to dentists and represents dentists in transactions involving buying and selling dental practices. In addition, Navjiven acts as the legal advisor in employment matters for a number of large companies and is also the nominated solicitor for organisations and deals with a variety of legal concerns in everyday business operations.

Navjiven has expertise in dealing with settlement and compromise agreements and provides informative talks at companies advising on employment policy.

Dharmini Somani – Partner

Dharmini came to the practice in 2013 as part of her legal placement and has since returned after completing her Law Degree (LLB) at Brunel University.

She studied at The University of Law to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC LLM) whilst undergoing her training contract at The Legal Practice and qualifying as solicitor before becoming a Partner in 2022.

Dharmini oversees the property department to assist with a range of home transactions, including sale, purchase, transfer, commercial conveyancing, re-mortgage or landlord and tenant matters. She also works on commercial property matters.

Dharmini offers an efficient service to all her clients and ensures a client-tailored service and stress-free transactions. She is also available to assist with the drafting of Wills and dealing with Probate matters.



Cecilia Fernandes

Senior Paralegal

Cecilia brings over 13 years of administrative experience in Office Management and Accounting. She assisted in developing and implementing firm policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of programs and practices within the firm. Now, Cecilia works on residential property matters from the purchase and sale, to a remortgage or a transfer of equity

Parveen Verma

Consultant Solicitor

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1978, Parveen ran his own practice for over 30 years before joining us in August 2022 as a consultant solicitor. Parveen specializes in high value Commercial Property work and his typical cases involve acting for purchases of commercial properties and preparing leases.

Kalpana Shah

Consultant Solicitor

Kalpana has a depth of experience in all aspects of Family Law, having qualified in 1993 and specialising in this area of law ever since. Kalpana gives advice on all aspects of divorce, children and financial settlements and she has considerable experience in dealing with complexities involving third-party interest, overseas assets, offshore companies, bankruptcy and fraudulent transactions. Kalpana offers pre-nuptial and post-nuptial services, ensuring that the assets of her clients are protected. Kalpana is able to settle most of her cases by ensuring concise and thorough pleading of cases to maximize a fair settlement. Much of her work comes from client referrals which is testament to the professionalism and quality of legal service provided

Pooja Almeida

Paralegal

Pooja prides herself on her personable approach and strives to provide the highest client care and excellent support to the legal teams at the practice. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of Wills and Probate law. She is pursuing further studies to expand her knowledge in this area. She is dedicated to helping clients with their Wills and estate matters. Pooja also deals with Power of Attorney and Deputyship applications, advising those on the importance of lifetime planning. In her spare time, Pooja can be found at the gym or supporting Manchester United.

Radnika Shah

Radnika brings over 30 years experience in Property law.

Hiten Berwal

Junior Paralegal

Hiten has previously worked in legal advice clinics in London assisting paralegals and solicitors with legal and administrative tasks. Hiten used work in cases heard at the High Court of India.
